Call for Participation

We hope you’ll join us for iConference 2014, the iSchool Caucus’ ninth annual gathering of information scholars, researchers and practitioners. The event takes place March 4-7, 2014 in Berlin, Germany, and marks the first time the conference has taken place in Europe. iConference 2014 is hosted by The Berlin School of Library and Information Science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and the program administered by the Royal School of Library and Information Science, University of Copenhagen.

Details will be posted in the coming months. We expect to issue our Call for Participation in the spring of 2013, and will begin accepting submissions in summer.

About the iConference

The iConference is an annual gathering of a broad spectrum of scholars and researchers from around the world who share a common concern about critical information issues in contemporary society. The iConference pushes the boundaries of information studies, explores core concepts and ideas, and creates new technological and conceptual configurations—all situated in interdisciplinary discourses.

The iConference series is presented by the iSchools organization, a growing worldwide association of Information Schools dedicated to advancing the information field, and preparing students to meet the information challenges of the 21st Century.

iConference 2014 is hosted by the The Berlin School of Library and Information Science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Its program is administered by the Royal School of Library and Information Science, Denmark.
